The Glass Ceilings & Sticky Floors Podcast: Women, AI & Leadership
Good work does not speak for itself. If you've been passed over for the promotion you earned, paid less than what you bring, or handed an AI tool with zero training, this show is for you.
The Glass Ceilings & Sticky Floors Podcast is where ambitious women get the inside story on pay, promotions, leadership and AI at work. Your host, Erica Rooney, spent 15+ years in HR, rising to Chief People Officer, sitting in the rooms where promotions and pay got decided. (And yes, she's telling you what gets said in there.)
Every week, Erica sits down with executives, founders, researchers and operators, or goes solo, to break down what holds women back and what to do about it: how to ask for the raise, how to get seen for the work you're already doing, how to lead without burning out, and how to talk to the machine so AI shows up in your hours, your pay and your title.
Glass ceilings are the barriers above you. Sticky floors are the ones under your feet: perfectionism, impostor syndrome, not knowing your worth. This show takes on both, with real stories and one move you can use in your next meeting.
Erica is the author of The AI Gap: Women, AI, and the Next Great Leap Forward, an Amazon bestseller in Career Advancement, and Glass Ceilings & Sticky Floors, endorsed by Mel Robbins. She's also the founder of HER Collective, a private AI training and career acceleration membership for women, built to close the AI gap where it pays: promotions, paychecks, executive seats, and the businesses women build.
Formerly From Now to Next (2022 to 2024).
Her mission: get more women into positions of power, and keep them there.
